The John Higgs Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries Clinic is dedicated to providing excellent general and sports injuries physiotherapy treatments and programmes of rehabilitation for our clients.
John Higgs became a qualified physiotherapist in 1975 and worked as the club physio at Bristol Rovers F.C. and Bath City F.C. In 1983 John set up in private practice in Bristol, treating all levels of sports people. Over the years John has treated individuals and teams in a wide range of sports including football, hockey, athletics and equestrian.
For 12 years John has worked for the Football Association and Gloucester F.A.
A Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, John is F.A. qualified and registered with the Health Professions Council PH66982.
Whilst John has expertise in treating sports related injuries, he also works in collaboration with specialist orthopaedic and neuro consultants, in the treatment of neck, back and orthopaedic injuries and conditions.
John's approach is methodical and structured, taking great care to assess and diagnose injuries and then apply the most effective treatments and rehabilitation programmes.
